Treating women, men, and everyone with a pelvis with pelvic floor dysfunction!

  1. Urinary Urgency or Leakage: Difficulty controlling your bladder or bladder leakage. We treat urge incontinence, stress incontinence, and mixed incontinence!

  2. Bowel Urgency or Leakage: Difficulty controlling your bowels or having bowel leakage. We work on those with bowel/ fecal leakage, gas leakage, and issues with holding back bowel movements.

  3. Pelvic Pain: Hurting in your lower abdomen, pubic bone, low back, hips, tail bone, vaginal pain, rectal pain, testicular pain, or penile pain. Chronic pelvic pain conditions such as: endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, chronic prostatitis, pudendal neuralgia, and those without a clinical diagnosis.

  4. Pregnancy Low Back and Pelvic Girdle Pain : Helping parents-to-be with pregnancy pains such as: Low back pain, hip pain, groin pain, pubic symphysis dysfunction, SI joint pain, and round ligament pain.

  5. Pregnancy Bladder Leaks: This does not have to happen! Working on this now can help prevent bladder leaks in your postpartum period and can allow for a stronger pelvic floor in pregnancy.

  6. Birth preparation: Work on improving your overall pelvic and pelvic floor mobility to prepare for a more comfortable vaginal birth experience while reducing your risk for grade 3 and 4 perineal tears!

  7. Post-partum Recovery: Helping the postpartum parent wherever they are in their recovery journey with returning to life and exercise without urinary/ bowel issues, pain, or prolapse symptoms.

1:1 Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy

10 reasons to choose Pacific Pelvic Health:

  1. One on one treatment! You will be working with your therapist who is a specialist in treating pelvic floor dysfunction. You won’t get sent off to an aid or be double booked with other patients, like many other physical therapy clinics. You will get my undivided attention with individualized and personalized care.

  2. Longer appointments geared towards your issues. You will have a full hour (or longer if requested) to not feel rushed to tell your story and to really dive deep in the reasons you are having symptoms. We can really focus on your issues so you are able to leave your appointment with treatment started to get you going towards your goals on day one! Stop feeling rushed like many other therapy appointments do.

  3. Mobile services available! Have PT in the comfort of your own home if you want! This is an amazing option if you are in your 3rd trimester of pregnancy or are newly postpartum. Instead of having to make time to go all the way to the office, you get the option of mobile appointments where I come to you!

  4. Personable care. This is a small individually owned business. I am the one answering the phone and scheduling the evaluations and treatments. You will be talking to a pelvic floor therapy specialist from the first phone call, instead of a front desk who doesn’t know anything about your medical conditions.

  5. I do holistic physical therapy where I take into account not just your symptoms, your medical background, but also your stress, nutrition, and physical/ mental health within my scope of practice. I look at you as a whole person instead of you just as a body part so that we can see long term results in your care.

  6. I am versed in strength and conditioning for those who are higher intensity athletes. I complete every session with this in mind, instead of staying only with mat exercises that are too easy and not focused towards your higher intensity goals. If you are a runner, CrossFit athlete, weight lifter, cyclist, triathlete, surfer, or complete any level of athleticism, you have found the right place! We will work on meeting your high level goals

  7. I provide hands on care, with trauma informed care in mind, to assist in facilitating more optimal movement patterns versus hands off and rushed care just telling you what exercises to complete.

  8. I allow and encourage your children to be involved, instead of requiring you to get child care for an appointment. I understand you have a busy life and it’s actually helpful for me to see how busy you are and how you care take care of/ carry/ love your kids, so I can better give you things to do that are more do-able versus ask you to complete exercises that aren’t plausible with your busy schedule, aren’t incorporating the physical exercise you already do as a Mom or Dad, and make you feel overwhelmed.

  9. I am an out of network provider. No being restricted by insurance that requires a referral, restricts the number of visits that I can provide you, limits the time we spend together, and stops treatments that you and I feel are necessary for you to find lasting results and to truly meet your most optimal pelvic health goals. (I do provide itemized bills for reimbursement by insurance companies who have out-of-network benefits.)

  10. You will have a PLAN and updates on where you are EVERY session. I have been on the receiving end of poor care with a therapist who gives NO understanding on how you will move forward. I start your evaluation outlining your individualized plan moving forward and every session we are making sure we are on the right path to meet your goals.
